The Antidote for Recovery

We live in a world that has been inundated with information about sickness. Sickness not only affects the pain of the body but also the effectiveness of the mind.  Some sickness leads to a life of hopelessness and despair, some sickness leads to isolation and loneliness.  Some sickness leads to bitterness and regret, but one thing that can change our perception of sickness is knowing there is an antidote that can reverse the adverse effects of the illness.  Yes, it is true that some illnesses can be such as this pandemic is worldwide. 

Yes, some illness is hereditary, others are self-inflicted, but today we want to talk about someone who was ill all by himself, as we look at the story of Hezekiah he did not suffer from a national pandemic he was not suffering from a family hereditary disorder, but yet and still, in how suffering he was informed that he had an illness that would ultimately lead to his death. as we have been discussing illnesses thought this county it seems to me that it's time that we start to discuss what it would take to recover. 

1. First, we must recover from sin.

2. Remember, God has a cure.

3. Build a positive relationship with God.

3.  Have some works worthy of your calling

4.  Wait on God

  • Psalm 46:10
